Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire left in the third quarter with an apparent knee injury Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Edwards-Helaire, a former first-round draft pick out of LSU, suffered the injury on an 11-yard gain, three plays before the Bills’ Micah Hyde scored on a 25-yard interception return to give Buffalo a 31-13 lead.

Edwards-Helaire left with 13 yards on seven carries after logging 100-yard rushing performances in the two previous games.
