DreamHack is set to hold an event in February 2022 in Anaheim, Calif., marking its first festival in the United States with live fans in two years.
“DreamHack Anaheim: This is Your World” is scheduled for Feb. 11-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. DreamHack’s most recent event there was in February 2020.
The 24-hour, non-stop festival will include esports tournaments, as well as fighting games, amateur and college varsity gaming tournaments, a 24-hour LAN party, cosplay championships and live concerts.
“DreamHack creates a space for our community to connect, explore, win, play, and be themselves through an interactive, gaming lifestyle experience,” DreamHack president Marcus Lindmark said in a statement. “Gaming brought, and kept, us together during difficult times, so I cannot begin to share how excited we are to be back in person with our community.”
