The National Women’s Soccer League will shift its championship game to Louisville, Kentucky, after players asked for it to be moved out of the Pacific time zone, The Athletic reported Wednesday.

The game was scheduled for Nov. 20 at noon ET — 9 a.m. local time — at Providence Park in Portland, Ore., with the time locked for television purposes. Players criticized the early start time when it was announced in September.

In Kentucky, the game would begin at noon locally at the soccer-specific Lynn Family Stadium, where Racing Louisville SC plays home games.

Six teams will qualify for the NWSL playoffs, with the top two seeds earning a bye to the semifinals. The quarterfinal round is set for Nov. 6-7, with the semifinals Nov. 13-14.
