Chris Rock made the joke about G.I Jane referring to Actress Demi Moore shaving her head for her role in the film “G.I. Jane”, Will Smith’s wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith suffers from alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that caused her to lose her hair loss.
Comedian Chris Rock is not without controversy. In 2016, Rock hosted the Oscars and made jokes about Pinkett Smith and Will Smith boycotting over #OscarsSoWhiteThe hash tag was meant to bring awareness for the lack of diversity at the Academy Awards.
Celebrity Will Smith apologized during his acceptance speech after an angry outburst at the 94th Academy Awards. Will Smith stood up from his seat near the stage Sunday night and walked to Chris Rock and slapped him. After sitting back down Smith shouted at the Rock to “keep my wife’s name out of your (f…) mouth.”
In the past his wife Pinkett-Smith’s shaved her head due in part to her ongoing struggle with Alopecia — a condition that causes hair loss — which she has spoken about publicly in the past.
