Sergei Pavlovich knocked out Curtis Blaydes by punches just 3:08 into the bout in their heavyweight main event of UFC’s Fight Night in Las Vegas on Saturday, giving the Russian his sixth consecutive opening round KO/TKO.

Pavlovich is now tied with Don Frye for the most consecutive KO/TKO stoppages in UFC history.

“Big respect to Curtis Blaydes,” Pavlovich said through an interpreter. “He’s great. But somebody was saying he was going to easily take me down. What are they saying now?”

Pavlovich improved to 18-1. Blaydes fell to 17-4.
