Supernova and DhillDucks won their way out of Overwatch’s FACEIT League and into the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 NA Stage 2 thanks to wins in the relegation round of OWCS Stage 1 on Sunday.

Supernova posted 3-0 victories in the upper bracket over Amplify and Shikigami, the two teams who were forced into the relegation stage by finishing seventh and eighth in the OWCS 2025 NA Stage 1 regular season earlier this year.

The DhillDucks lost their first match to Shikigami 3-2, but took advantage of the double-elimination tournament, breezing through a pair of lower-bracket matches 3-0 to grab the other Stage 2 berth. They eliminated Amplify and then avenged their earlier loss to Shikigami.

Amplify and Shikigami now will drop back to FACEIT League Season 5 and await an opportunity to try to return to OWCS play. Supernova finished first and DhillDucks second in FACEIT League Season 4 to earn their berths in this relegation round.

In Supernova’s sweep of Shikigami to clinch the upper bracket, they won 2-1 on Oasis Control, 2-1 on Junkertown Escort and 5-4 on King’s Row Hybrid. Ryan “Ryan” Lawless, an American/Swedish player for Supernova, earned match MVP honors.

The DhillDucks then took care of Shikigami in similar fashion: 2-1 on Oasis Control, 4-3 on Junkertown Escort and 4-3 on King’s Row Hybrid.
