The Florida Mayhem, Boston Uprising and Toronto Defiant all improved to 2-0 in Summer Stage qualifiers in the Overwatch League’s West Region by picking up victories on Sunday.
The Mayhem defeated the Vancouver Titans 3-1, the Uprising topped the Vegas Eternal 3-1 and the Defiant swept the Los Angeles Valiant 3-0.
Summer Stage Qualifiers in the West run through Sept. 4, with each team in the region playing a total of eight best-of-five matches. The top three teams will advance to the playoffs, while the fourth- through 10th-ranked squads will be sent to the play-ins.
East Region qualifying will run through Aug. 6. All matches will also be best-of-five in a single round-robin format, with all 10 teams moving on to the Summer Stage Knockouts. Matches between the three teams based in South Korea (Dallas Fuel, Seoul Dynasty, Seoul Infernal) will all be offline.
On Sunday, the Mayhem started off with a 2-1 victory on Lijiang Tower and a 3-0 win on Midtown. Vancouver answered with a 1-0 result on Watchpoint: Gibraltar, but Florida clinched the match by taking New Queen Street 1-0.
The Uprising earned consecutive 2-1 results on Ilios and Numbani, but Vegas avoided the shutout by winning 2-1 on Route 66. Boston then stifled Vegas 1-0 on Esperanca.
The Defiant opened with a 2-0 win on Busan, took Midtown 2-1 and outlasted the Valiant 4-3 on Route 66 for their clean sweep.
Qualifying action resumes Friday with three matches in the West and three in the East:
