Carson Pickett, Angelina and Marta scored to help host Orlando remain unbeaten with the victory over Houston.

The Pride (16-0-6, 54 points) haven’t lost in a league-record 23 consecutive matches, beginning with last year’s season finale.

Yuki Nagasato scored for Houston (4-13-5, 17 points), which fell into last place in the 14-team league.

Pickett scored in the 29th minute on a goal set up by a long cross from Cori Dyke. Orlando made it 2-0 in the 51st minute when Angelina sent a right-footed shot from outside the box into the top left-hand corner of the net. It was her second goal of the season.

Houston cut its deficit in half two minutes later when Nagasato’s left-footer went into the right corner. It was her second goal of the season.

Wave 2, Thorns 0

Mya Jones and Melanie Barcenas scored goals as host San Diego knocked off Portland.

Jones scored in the 69th minute and Barcenas followed five minutes later as the Wave (5-10-7, 22 points) won for the second time in three matches. Kailen Sheridan made six saves while recording her sixth shutout of the season.

Thorns star Christine Sinclair drew a rousing ovation when she exited in the 82nd minute. The six-time Canadian World Cup standout announced Friday that she will retire at the end of the season. The four-time Olympian and three-time NWSL champion is 41. Portland (8-10-4, 28 points) dropped to 0-5-1 over its past six matches. Mackenzie Arnold made two saves.

Utah Royals 1, Racing Louisville FC 0

Ana Tejada scored on a booming kick in the 78th minute to lift Utah past Racing Louisville at Sandy, Utah.

Tejada was well beyond the box when she sent a short pass to Claudia Zornoza, who immediately tapped it back. Tejada wound up and booted a long-range right-footed rocket into the left corner of the net as the Royals (5-14-3, 18 points) halted a three-match losing streak and moved out of the NWSL basement.

Katie Lund had four saves for Louisville (6-9-7, 25 points), which had a two-match winning streak snapped.
