NHL: Kings re-sign D Jordan Spence to 2-year, $3M deal

Defenseman Jordan Spence, the first Australian-born NHL player, re-signed with the Los Angeles Kings on a two-year, $3 million deal on Thursday.

Spence, 23, finished with 24 points (two goals, 22 assists) in 71 games in 2023-24, his first full NHL season. In five playoff games, he contributed one assist.

In parts of three seasons with Los Angeles, which selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 draft, Spence has 33 points (four goals, 29 assists) in 101 games.
