Jordan Binnington made 24 saves as the St. Louis Blues snapped their four-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Sunday in Salt Lake City.

Alexandre Texier and Jordan Kyrou scored for the Blues, who were outscored 16-4 in their losing streak.

Michael Kesselring scored and Connor Ingram made 27 saves for Utah, which is winless (0-3-2) in its last five games.

Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker left the game during the third period after taking a hard shoulder-first fall into the boards.

The Blues outshot Utah 15-6 during the first period while taking a 1-0 lead.

Mathieu Joseph tested Ingram with a shot off the right wing and Texier challenged him with a probe from the left wing off the rush.

The Blues finally broke through with 2:19 left in the first period. Radek Faksa slid the puck back to Texier, who scored from the low slot.

During the scoreless second period, Utah outshot the Blues 9-7.

After the Hockey Club failed to convert a goalmouth scramble at one end, Ingram denied Joseph’s rush from left wing at the other end.

Binnington kept the Blues ahead by stopping Barrett Hayton’s shot from the right wing on a 2-on-1 short-handed rush.

Kesselring tied the game 3:27 into the third period. After Kevin Stenlund won an offensive zone faceoff, Nick Bjugstad banked a pass back to Kesselring for his shot from the right point through traffic.

Ingram robbed Kyrou’s shot from point-blank range off the rush, but Kyrou struck shortly thereafter. Thomas’ diagonal pass from the end boards found Kyrou, who stepped in from the right circle to put the Blues up 2-1.

Utah got an opportunity to tie the game during consecutive power plays. On the first, Keller fired a shot off the crossbar. During the second, Binnington came well out of the goal to stop Josh Doan’s shot from the slot.
