Trailing 3-1 in their first-round series against the Colorado Avalanche, the Jets will be without forward Vladislav Namestnikov (cheekbone) and defenseman Brenden Dillon (hand) for Game 5 in Winnipeg on Tuesday night.

Namestnikov sustained a fractured cheekbone when he was hit by a deflected shot from teammate Nate Schmidt in Sunday’s 6-1 loss in Game 4. Dillon sustained a left hand injury during a scrum that followed Winnipeg’s 6-2 loss in Game 3 on Friday.

Jets coach Rick Bowness told reporters he had checked in with Namestnikov on Monday after the veteran forward stayed in Denver another night.

“He’s nauseous. He hasn’t eaten. So he’s not feeling great,” Bowness said. “Dilly, of course, you know him — two broken hands and he’d still want to play, but we’ll give him a couple days.”

With Namestnikov out, forward Cole Perfetti is expected to make his NHL playoff debut in Game 5.
