NHL: Canucks F Andrei Kuzmenko agrees to two-year extension

Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko agreed to terms on a two-year, $11 million contract extension on Thursday.

The deal runs through the 2024-25 season and includes a 12-team no-trade list, per multiple reports.

The 26-year-old Russian rookie has made an immediate impact since joining the Canucks from the Kontinental Hockey League on July 13.

Kuzmenko has recorded 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists) in 47 games this season, including seven (four goals, three assists) in his last six contests.

He set career highs with 20 goals and 33 assists in 45 games with SKA St. Petersburg last season in the KHL. He added seven goals and seven assists in 16 playoff games.
