NHL: Blackhawks acquire F Anders Bjork from Sabres

The Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Anders Bjork from the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday in exchange for future considerations.

Bjork, 26, was held off the scoresheet in his lone game with the Sabres this season. He has totaled 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists) in 42 games in 2022-23 with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Bjork has recorded 53 points (24 goals, 29 assists) in 212 career games with the Boston Bruins and Sabres. He was selected by the Bruins in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 2017 at Notre Dame.
