The Pittsburgh Steelers activated eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the physically unable to perform list on Monday.

Ramsey, 31, sustained a knee injury during the team’s minicamp but did not require surgery.

Also cleared to return to the practice field is rookie offensive lineman Max Iheanachor, the first-round pick who has been sidelined since sustaining a neck/shoulder injury on Aug. 6.

Ramsey was dealt to Pittsburgh last summer in a swap that sent safety Minkah Fitzpatrick back to Miami. He recorded 88 tackles, three sacks and one interception in 17 regular-season games with the Steelers.

He has totaled 622 tackles and 25 interceptions in 152 career regular-season games (151 starts) with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2016-19), Los Angeles Rams (2019-22), Dolphins (2023-24) and Steelers since being drafted fifth overall in 2016.

The Steelers play their final preseason game Thursday night at Buffalo and open the regular season at home against Atlanta on Sept. 13.
