NFL: Ravens sign veteran DE Steven Means

The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran pass rusher Steven Means on Friday.

Means, 31, spent the past few seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He started 14 games last season and tallied 43 tackles, one forced fumble and two tackles for losses.

He signed with Baltimore after a tryout at minicamp this week.

In 64 career games (29 starts), Means has 107 tackles, six sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 10 tackles for loss. He spent part of the 2014 season with the Ravens in addition to playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2013-14), Philadelphia Eagles (2016-17) and Atlanta (2018, 2020-21).

The Buccaneers drafted Means in the fifth round (No. 147 overall) in 2013 out of Buffalo.
