Stephen Curry hit another milestone trifecta on Wednesday — he graduated, had his jersey retired and got inducted into the Davidson Hall of Fame.

And it had to be in that order.

Curry, who left school early after the 2008-09 season to declare for the NBA draft, wasn’t eligible to be inducted into the school’s HOF until he graduated. Curry recently announced he was going back to polish off his degree in Sociology, which he did in May.

To honor him, the school held a full graduation ceremony for one, including retiring his No. 30.

“I’m a graduate, I’m a Davidson alum and in the Hall of Fame, it’s pretty crazy,” Curry said in his speech. “Thank you all.”

His parents also spoke, as did his former Davidson – and now retired – coach Bob McKillop.

Curry led Davidson to a run to the Elite Eight in 2008, where it lost to eventual champion Kansas.

Curry averaged 25.3 points per game and made 414 3-pointers in 104 contests (103 starts) from 2006-09 for Davidson.
