
Undrafted former Gonzaga star Drew Timme is signing with the Milwaukee Bucks, The Athletic reported Friday.
The consensus 2022-23 All-American reportedly agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal, a minimum contract that can be converted to a two-way deal before the start of the season.
The 6-foot-10 Timme, 22, averaged 21.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 37 starts for the Bulldogs in 2022-23.
The two-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year averaged 17.2 points and 6.7 rebounds in 134 games (105 starts) over four seasons at Gonzaga.
Other noteworthy undrafted free agent agreements on Friday:
–Projected draft picks Azuolas Tubelis (Arizona), Terquavion Smith (NC State) and Ricky Council IV (Arkansas) signed two-way contracts with the Philadelphia 76ers. Smith was the Wolfpack’s top scorer and spent two seasons at NC State. Tubelis, who is 6-foot-11, averaged 19.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as a junior at Arizona last season. Smith contributed 17.9 points and 4.1 assists in 2022-23. Council played one season at Arkansas following two years at Wichita State. He averaged 16.1 points and 3.6 rebounds last season for the Razorbacks.
–The Indiana Pacers agreed to a two-way contract with Kentucky big man Oscar Tshiebwe, the national player of the year two seasons ago. Tshiebwe averaged 16.5 points and 13.7 rebounds last season, leading the nation in rebounding for the second straight season.
–Kansas State point guard Markquis Nowell signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors. Nowell was bypassed in the draft because of his 5-foot-7 size but was a big-time star during March Madness and set an NCAA Tournament single-game record with 19 assists in the Wildcats’ win over Michigan State in the Sweet 16. Nowell averaged 17.6 points and 8.3 assists and had 92 steals last season.
–UConn center Adama Sanogo signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls. Sanogo, 21, averaged 17.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game last season as a junior and declared for the draft after helping the Huskies win the national title.
–Texas guard Sir’Jabari Rice signed a two-way deal with the San Antonio Spurs. Rice, 24, averaged 13 points per game last season and was named Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year. He led the Longhorns in scoring in 11 games last season. Alabama center Charles Bediako also signed a Exhibit 10 deal with the Spurs. He averaged 6.4 points and 6.0 rebounds last season.
–Vanderbilt center Liam Robbins signed with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 7-foot transferred from Minnesota and was SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022-23. He also shot 36.5 percent from 3-point range. The Pelicans also agreed to a deal with Cincinnati forward Landers Nolley II.
–The No. 2 all-time scorer in the NCAA, Detroit Mercy guard Antoine Davis, signed with the Portland Trail Blazers. Davis finished his career three points behind Pete Maravich for the all-time college basketball points record. Gonzaga guard Malachi Smith (8.7 ppg last season) also joined Portland.
–Los Angeles Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka, who hit on Austin Reaves in the undrafted free agent market, added three undrafted free agents on Friday. Two Florida standouts — center Colin Castleton and forward Alex Fudge — signed with the Lakers and Missouri guard D’Moi Hodge agreed to a two-way deal.
–DePaul guard Javan Johnson signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. Johnson shot 41.2 percent from 3-point range last season. He played at Troy and Iowa State before joining the Blue Demons.
–TCU guard Mike Miles Jr. agreed to a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Miles averaged 17.9 points per game last season.
–The Oklahoma City Thunder reached an agreement with Baylor guard Adam Flagler, who averaged 15.6 points and made 80 3-point baskets last season.
–The Charlotte Hornets reached a deal with San Diego State center Nathan Mensah, a two-time Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year. Mensah blocked 64 shots and averaged 6.0 points and 5.9 rebounds while helping the Aztecs reach the national championship game.
–The Atlanta Hawks signed UCLA guard David Singleton to an Exhibit 10 contract. Singleton appeared in 164 games (40 starts) for UCLA over the past five seasons. The prolific 3-point shooter averaged 9.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game and made 73 3-pointers last season.
–UCLA guard Tyger Campbell will join the Orlando Magic for NBA Summer League. A four-year starting point guard (133 games) for the Bruins, Campbell had 13.4 points, 5.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game last season.
