NASCAR Cup Series driver and team co-owner Brad Keselowski is recovering from surgery after breaking his leg in a skiing accident.

Keselowski, 41, sustained the injury last Thursday while on a trip with his family. He was released from the hospital on Monday.

“Rolling out of the hospital and officially on the road to recovery,” he posted on X. “Grateful for incredible care and a smooth ride home in my Ford Expedition. Ready to be home for the holidays!”

Keselowski, the 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion and a winner of 36 races at the Cup level, drives the No. 6 Ford for RFK Racing.

He has not missed a Cup Series race since he became a full-time driver in 2010. The Daytona 500 is scheduled for Feb. 15 with the Cup Series schedule starting the following week at Atlanta.
