The scheduled Saturday night season opener between the host Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City was postponed Thursday evening due to incoming severe winter weather conditions.

Originally slated for a 10:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Portland’s Providence Park, the game was moved to Monday with a start time of 10 p.m. local.

Per the league, all tickets previously purchased for Saturday will be honored on Monday instead. The game will stream for free on Apple TV in English and Spanish.

Portland and Sporting KC split two meetings last season, with the home team winning in a blowout each time — the host Timbers victorious 7-2 on May 14 while SKC prevailed 4-1 on Aug. 21.
