The New York Yankees announced contract decisions Wednesday for two relievers, exercising their option for left-hander Tim Hill but declining their 2026 option for right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga.

Hill, 35, will earn $3 million next season after going 4-4 with a 3.09 ERA in 70 relief appearances during his first full season with the Yankees in 2025.

Loaisiga, 31, spent time on the injured list with back and elbow issues in 2025 and finished 0-1 with a 4.25 ERA and one save in 30 relief appearances. He enters free agency after New York turned down his $5 million option.

Hill owns a 24-18 record with a 3.84 ERA in 452 career games (no starts) with the Kansas City Royals (2018-19), San Diego Padres (2020-23), Chicago White Sox (2024) and Yankees.

Loaisiga is 19-12 with a 3.54 ERA in 193 games (11 starts) since making his major league debut with the Yankees in 2018.
