MLB: RHP Aaron Nola agrees to 7-year deal with Phillies

Right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies reached an agreement Sunday on a seven-year, $172 million contract.

Nola underwent a physical Sunday before the deal was finalized.

Nola, 30, posted a 12-9 record with a 4.46 ERA in 32 starts last season.

An All-Star in 2018, Nola owns a 90-71 mark with a 3.72 ERA in 235 career starts since being selected by the Phillies with the seventh overall pick of the MLB draft in 2014.
