Brad Miller hit a bloop two-run single to right field with two outs in the 10th inning to lift the Texas Rangers past the host Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Marcus Semien reached base three times with two hits and once after being hit by a pitch as the Rangers won their fourth in a row, including a two-game sweep of the Phillies.

Rangers starter Martin Perez threw seven shutout innings and gave up four hits to go along with four strikeouts and four walks.

Matt Bush (1-1) earned the win after retiring one batter in the ninth. Joe Barlow picked up his third save in three opportunities despite allowing a run in the 10th.

Nick Castellanos had three hits and Odubel Herrera produced an RBI groundout in the 10th for the Phillies, who lost their third straight.

Phillies starter Zack Wheeler tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed six hits with seven strikeouts and just one walk.

Brad Hand (1-1) took the loss.

The Rangers managed two hits through the first three innings, a double by Semien and a single by Kole Calhoun.

Castellanos, who returned from the paternity list, and Didi Gregorius each recorded singles through the first three innings.

J.T. Realmuto and Kyle Schwarber each walked to open the bottom of the fifth. Jean Segura then grounded into a 6-4-3 double play and Gregorius grounded out to first to end the threat.

Castellanos appeared to hit a solo homer to right with two outs in the sixth. After a crew chief review, a fan was ruled to have illegally touched the ball and the hit was changed to a double.

Mitch Garver blooped a single to left with one out in the seventh to place runners on first and third. Schwarber and Gregorius collided on the play but both players remained in the game. Zach Reks popped out to third and Alec Bohm threw out Adolis Garcia trying to score on a sacrifice fly.

Segura lined out to Bush with Roman Quinn at second to end the ninth and send the game into extra innings.
