Tickets to Game 4 of the National League Championship Series have plummeted 50% with the Los Angeles Dodgers facing elimination at home against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday night.

The Dodgers let a precarious 2-1 lead in Game 3 slip away in a 6-2 loss Wednesday night and now must win consecutive games just to send the series back to Milwaukee, where the Brewers won the first two games.

The get-in price for Game 4 tickets was $156 as recently as Sunday, according to TicketData.com. It had dipped to $99 before the start of Game 3 on Wednesday night, then plunged to $77 shortly after the Brewers took a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Milwaukee can clinch a trip to the World Series with a win on Thursday night. A Dodgers win would force a Game 5 in Los Angeles on Friday night, with best-of-seven series potentially returning to Milwaukee for Games 6 and 7 on Sunday and Monday.

Los Angeles led MLB in attendance for the 13th straight season with a total of 4.03 million to set a franchise record. There were 14 sellouts and 40 crowds of 50,000 or more at Dodger Stadium, the largest MLB ballpark (capacity 56,000). The average for 81 games was 49,805.

While the Dodgers are trying to become the first team to win three consecutive World Series titles in 26 years, the Brewers are on track to reach their first World Series since 1982 — when they were in the American League.

Resale tickets for a potential World Series Game 1 in Milwaukee at American Family Field (capacity 41,900) on Oct. 23 have risen 21% to $1,317 over the past three days, per TicketData.
