Major League Baseball has partnered with Zoom to take MLB Network and Apple viewers behind the scenes of replay reviews.

Viewers will be able to see into the replay room — the Zoom Replay Operations Center — and who’s on the other end of communications with on-field umpires. A rules analyst will also walk viewers through the discussions.

The idea is to provide more transparency for viewers on those platforms.

“We are always looking for innovative ways to leverage best-in-class technology to advance the MLB experience and deliver more to our fans,” MLB chief operations and strategy officer Chris Marinak said in a news release on Thursday.
