Christian Yelich delivered a walk-off grand slam in the 10th inning to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 5-1 comeback victory over visiting Boston on Tuesday, the fourth consecutive loss for the Red Sox.

Brice Turang opened the 10th against Liam Hendricks (0-2) with a line single to center, sending automatic runner Joey Ortiz to third. Turang took second on defensive indifference, and Jackson Chourio walked to load the bases.

After William Contreras flied out, Yelich sent a 1-1 pitch 400 feet to right-center for his 10th homer and first career walk-off home run.

Boston failed to score in the top half. Abraham Toro beat out an infield single to first, sending automatic runner Trevor Story to third. After Ceddanne Rafaela struck out, Rob Zastryzny (1-0) relieved and struck out Jarren Duran and got Rafael Devers on a fly to left.

The Brewers tied it 1-1 with a run in the ninth off Aroldis Chapman, who had converted all eight of his previous save opportunities.

Yelich opened the ninth with a two-strike, opposite-field double over the bag at third. Yelich then stole third when Rhys Hoskins walked. After Isaac Collins flied out, Sal Frelick tied it with a line-drive single to center.

The Red Sox, who have scored just five runs total in their past four losses, managed just two hits over five innings before pushing across a run in the sixth on a wild pitch.

Rafaela doubled, chasing starter Aaron Civale. Aaron Ashby relieved and Rafaela advanced to third on a one-out groundout and then came home on the wild pitch.

The Brewers threatened in the bottom half when Chourio opened with a double to center and advanced to third on a groundout. Justin Wilson relieved and got Yelich on an infield pop and Hoskins on a flyout to right.

Civale, making his second start since coming off the injured list, allowed one run on three hits in five-plus innings, striking out four and walking one.

Red Sox starter Richard Fitts came off the IL and threw three scoreless innings. He permitted two hits and a walk while fanning two.
