LOL: PSG Talon, Fnatic qualify for bracket stage at Mid-Season Invitational

PSG Talon and Fnatic advanced Sunday to the bracket stage of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.

PSG Talon recorded their second straight sweep with a 2-0 victory over FlyQuest, courtesy of 34- and 27-minute wins on red. PSG Talon will square off against Bilibili Gaming in the upper bracket quarterfinals on Thursday.

Fnatic also posted a sweep on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over GAM Esports. They notched 34- and 43-minute wins on blue to set up a clash against Gen.G Esports on Wednesday.

Team Liquid and Top Esports will tangle on Tuesday and G2 Esports will face T1 on Friday to round out the upper bracket quarterfinals matches.

The $250,000 tournament began last Wednesday with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize and qualification into the 2024 World Championship. The play-in stage concluded Sunday, with the bracket stage opening Tuesday.
