Bilibili Gaming swept Cloud9 on Thursday to reach the upper bracket semifinals at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational.
BLG opened with a 35-minute win on red and completed the 3-0 sweep with victories on red and blue.
BLG next will face the winner of Friday’s upper bracket quarterfinal match between JD Gaming and Golden Guardians. Cloud9 will face the loser of that match in Round 1 of the lower bracket on Sunday.
The $250,000 Mid-Season Invitational’s bracket stage runs through May 21 with a top prize of $50,000. That stage is contested in a double-elimination format. All matches are best-of-five.
