LOL: 100 Thieves stay alive in LCS Summer Split playoffs

100 Thieves came from behind to beat Dignitas 3-2 on Friday at the League Championship Series Summer Split playoffs in Los Angeles.

The result sends 100 Thieves to the lower-bracket semifinal, where they will oppose Cloud9 on Sunday.

Dignitas won the first map on red before 100 Thieves responded with a victory on blue. Dignitas again jumped in front, taking the third map on blue, but 100 Thieves rallied to capture the fourth map on blue and the decisive fifth map on red.

South Korea’s Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung produced an average 4.8/1.4/4.4 kill-death-assist ratio for 100 Thieves. Denmark’s Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen logged an average 4.4/2.4/4.6 K-D-A ratio for Dignitas.

All playoff matches in North America’s top League of Legends competition are best-of-five. The winner of the tournament will take home $100,000 of the $200,000 prize pool, with the top three teams qualifying for the World Championship.
