FDA: Starbucks Drink Recalled Due to Potential Metal Contamination

Starbucks Gets an FDA Recall for Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot Cold Canned Drinks.

A voluntary recall has been issued for a canned Starbucks beverage that was distributed in seven states due to possible contamination.Although a formal recall statement hasn’t been issued as of Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration made the recall public in an enforcement report.

Over 220 cases of Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot are reportedly being recalled owing to potential metal shards in the beverage. According to the research, only 15-ounce cans packaged in 12-packs are affected.

According to the FDA, recalled cans were sent to retail establishments in Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The FDA and PepsiCo, the company that makes the beverage, have not provided a list of specific retailers that are impacted.
