Isack Hadjar will be behind the wheel this week at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing announced Tuesday.
Hadjar has been nursing a wrist injury sustained while training last month. The French driver missed three races while on the mend.
With Hadjar ready to return, Liam Lawson will head back to Racing Bulls. Yuki Tsunoda, in turn, will return to reserve duties.
“Oracle Red Bull Racing is delighted to welcome Isack back this weekend,” Red Bull said in a statement on Tuesday. “Having made a successful recovery from his wrist injury, Isack will return to action at the Baku City Circuit on Thursday.
“The team would like to sincerely thank Liam for his professionalism, dedication and hard work over the past three races. Stepping in under challenging circumstances, he delivered some impressive performances and made a valuable contribution to the team.”
