Xtreme Gaming padded their lead atop Group B after recording a sweep of OG in Wednesday’s action at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
XG dispatched OG to improve to 3-0-1 in the group stage at the 12-team Dota 2 event. XG won in 38 minutes on red and 45 minutes on green.
BetBoom Team and nouns played to a 1-1 draw in another Group B match, as did Team Spirit and Azure Ray.
Team Falcons moved into a tie for first place in the congested Group A after posting a 2-0 victory over Virtus.pro. Falcons recorded 68- and 36-minute wins on green.
Gaimin Gladiators and LGD Gaming played to a 1-1 draw in another Group A match, as did Team Liquid and Aurora.
The round-robin group stage in the $1 million tournament runs through Thursday, with the top four teams in each group advancing. The double-elimination playoff stage runs from Feb. 11-16. All matches are best of three except for the best-of-five grand final.
