DOTA: Team Spirit stuns PSG.LGD to win International 10

Team Spirit stunned PSG.LGD 3-2 in the Grand Final on Sunday at The International 10 in Bucharest, Romania.

Team Spirit, who were forced to battle through the lower bracket after losing to Invictus Gaming 2-1 in the first round, earned $18.2 million for the first-place finish. PSG.LGD collected $5.2 million as runner-up.

The Grand Final began with Team Spirit winning the first match in 38 minutes on green and the second in 41 minutes on red to stake a 2-0 lead.

PSG.LGD, who had lost just one map leading up to the Grand Final, then answered with a hard-fought 50-minute win in the third match on red before blitzing Team Spirit in just 25 minutes in the fourth match on green.

In the deciding match, Team Spirit took control early on and kept the pressure on throughout a 37-minute victory on green.

To reach the Grand Final, Team Spirit first had to survive the lower-bracket final.

In that round, Team Spirit rallied to beat Team Secret 2-1. Team Secret took the first match in 39 minutes on green, but Team Spirit won the next one in 43 minutes (red) to tie it up, then sealed it with a 41-minute victory in the third match (red).

Team Secret earned $3.6 million for the third-place finish.
