DOTA: Team Spirit, PARIVISION advance at Esports World Cup

Team Spirit and PARIVISION advanced to the semifinals with victories on Wednesday at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Spirit swept Gaimin Gladiators and PARIVISION outlasted Aurora Gaming 2-1 in the first two quarterfinals. Spirit and PARIVISION will meet in the first semifinal on Friday.

Spirit opened with a 65-minute marathon win on green and finished with a 39-minute victory on red.

PARIVISION sandwiched 33- and 35-minute wins on green around Aurora’s 40-minute triumph on red.

The Esports World Cup is the final championship of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour. Previously known as the Riyadh Masters, the EWC has a prize pool of $3 million, with $1 million plus 1,000 club points awarded to the team that is crowned champion on Saturday.

The quarterfinals conclude with two matches Thursday:
–BetBoom Team vs. Tundra Esports
–Team Liquid vs. Team Falcons

Friday’s semifinal winners will meet in the best-of-five grand final on Saturday, while the semifinal losers will battle in a best-of-three for third place the same day.
