
PlayTime swept Yakult Brothers in Wednesday’s grand final to win the $350,000 top prize at the Games of the Future Dota 2 event in Astana, Kazakhstan.
PlayTime posted a 63-minute win on red, a 38-minute victory on green and a 44-minute triumph on red to wrap up the $1 million tournament that began with 16 teams on July 31.
The championship roster for PlayTime consisted of Abed “Abed” Yusop of the Philippines, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong of Thailand and three players from Peru: Maximo “Wits” Orozco Alza, Elvis “Scofield” Pena and Yelsthin “Elmisho” Hurtado.
Earlier Wednesday, Team Resilience claimed third place with a 2-0 sweep against Rune Eaters, notching 34- and 29-minute wins on green.
