DOTA: HEROIC, MOUZ move into semis at BLAST Slam IV

HEROIC and MOUZ each won Friday to advance to the semifinals at the $1 million Dota 2 event BLAST Slam IV.

HEROIC swept Aurora Gaming via 33- and 39-minute wins on green. The win moved HEROIC into a best-of-three semifinal match against Team Falcons on Saturday.

MOUZ punched their ticket with a 2-1 victory over Team Spirit. MOUZ sandwiched 48- and 54-minute wins on green around a 31-minute setback to set up Saturday’s clash versus Tundra Esports.

Team Falcons and Tundra Esports secured their semifinal spots by virtue with 9-2 records in the Group Stage.

Sunday’s grand final is a best-of-five. The championship squad will receive $300,000 as prize money, in addition to $100,000 in team earnings. In total, $750,000 will be up for grabs in prize money with an additional $250,000 in team earnings.
