
Team Spirit and MOUZ won the first two quarterfinal matches of the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 on Thursday in Attard, Malta.
Spirit blanked Team Liquid 2-0 while MOUZ was a 2-1 winner over 3DMAX. Two more teams will join them in the semifinals; The MongolZ will take on FaZe Clan and Astralis will meet paiN Gaming on Friday to wrap up the first round, then the semis will be played Saturday and the grand final Sunday.
Eight teams are playing in the BLAST Bounty Summer finals after advancing from a pool of 32 clubs in the closed qualifier. Of the $740,000 prize pool, $410,000 was awarded to participants in the closed qualifier.
The finals are a single-elimination bracket where the quarters and semis are best-of-three and the grand final is best-of-five. The champions will also earn three BLAST Frequent Flyer Tokens, while the other seven teams will collect one.
On Thursday, Team Spirit prevailed over Team Liquid 13-7 on Dust II and 13-5 on Anubis. Spirit star Danil “donk” Kryshkovets of Russia posted 42 kills to just 20 deaths for a match rating of plus-1.76.
MOUZ rallied after 3DMAX opened with a 13-10 triumph on Dust II. The second map, Nuke, required multiple overtimes before MOUZ pulled out a 22-18 decision. Then MOUZ ended it with a bang via a 13-3 victory on Inferno.
Adam “torzsi” Torzsas of Hungary led MOUZ’s comeback with 67 kills to 44 deaths and a plus-1.38 match rating.
