FaZe Clan, OG and G2 all notched sweeps during early action at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups on Friday in Copenhagen, Denmark.

FaZe beat Complexity Gaming and OG defeated Team Liquid in Group B upper-bracket semifinals, while G2 bested BIG in Group C — all by 2-0 scores. FaZe and OG will meet in their group’s upper-bracket final on Sunday.

A prize pool of $177,498 will be distributed to the 12 participants in the Spring event, with $27,500 going to the top three finishers along with qualification for the Spring Final later this season.

Winners in Group play are determined by three double-elimination brackets, all matches being best of three.

FaZe Clan defeated Complexity 16-6 on Inferno and 16-9 on Overpass. Helvijs “broky” Saukants of Latvia led the way with 44 kills and a plus-21 kills-to-deaths differential for FaZe. They also got 42 kills on a plus-16 K-D from Denmark’s Patrick “es3tag” Hansen, serving as a stand-in for Havard “rain” Nygaard, who is away on paternity leave.

OG opened with a 16-6 victory on Ancient before using double overtime to take down Liquid 22-20 on Nuke. A trio of stellar performances fueled OG: Serbian Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic with a game-high 56 kills (plus-17 K-D), Adam “NEOFRAG” Zouhar of the Czech Republic with 53 kills (plus-18) and Russian Abdul “degster” Gasanov with 51 kills (plus-19).

G2 eked out a 16-14 win on Mirage before claiming Inferno 16-9. G2 star Nikola “NiKo” Kovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina posted a game-high 43 kills.

Action continues Saturday with three games:
–Natus Vincere vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas (Group C upper-bracket semifinal)
–Evil Geniuses vs. Team Vitality (Group A upper-bracket final)
–Heroic vs. Astralis (Group A lower-bracket semifinal)
