CSGO: broky, FaZe Clan too strong for MOUZ in final of IEM Chengdu

FaZe Clan recorded a sweep against MOUZ on Sunday in the grand final at the $250,000 IEM Chengdu event in China.

FaZe posted a 13-10 win on Overpass and a 13-6 victory on Nuke to pocket $100,000 and 1,400 BLAST Premier points, plus an automatic qualification to IEM Cologne 2024.

Tournament MVP Helvijs “broky” Saukants of Latvia collected 34 kills and a plus-12 kills-to-death differential for FaZe Clan.

Finland’s Jimi “Jumpphat” Salo had 33 kills and a plus-4 kills-to-death differential to pace MOUZ, who won $42,000 and gained 1,000 BLAST Premier points.

The CS2 tournament began Monday with 16 teams vying for a share of the prize pool. All matches in the single-elimination playoffs were best-of-three.

13-16. $4,000 — 9x Team, TYLOO, Steel Helmet, Wildcard Gaming
