Celebrity singer and songwriter, Mariah Carey has inspired a generation of vocalists with a record-breaking run of self-penned hits that bridged the gap between pop and R&B. Looks like its officially Mariah Carey season again, and she looked stunning in a skintight black gown on Tuesday night. The Queen of Christmas was photographed as she arrived at New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater for an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Mariah’s gown had a plunging neckline with lace accents and a knee-high slit.

Her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, with wavy tresses cascading over both shoulders and slicked bangs in the front. She was seen wearing the world’s largest diamond earrings, which were not to be overlooked. A slick of lip gloss, a chic belt cinched around her trim waistline and oversized black sunglasses completed the look.

This month, Mariah fulfilled a childhood dream by performing at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She expressed her joy in an Instagram post shortly before the big day. The singer revealed the news in a “special announcement” video in which she danced along to All I Want For Christmas Is You, her 1994 classic hit while dressed in a skintight red Christmassy outfit.

Mariah shared a few more photos and a short video from her enjoyable day in New York. She looked stunning in a massive pink ballgown, a pink umbrella, and a silver crown on her head. She wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving and thanked her two “beautiful” children in her caption.
