Monday, September 20, Spears posted in Instagram about her “weekend getaway” with fiancé Sam Asghari. The two got engaged On September 12th, just after her father, Jamie Spears, filed a petition to end the conservatorship that Britney was controlled by for 13 years.
She wrote in the caption, “Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my … holy shit … FIANCÉ … I still can’t believe it !!!!
Fans were quick to notice the picture showed Britney with shorter shoulder length hair and red dyed ends, The hairstyle showing in newer posts is longer and has no red dye. Fans immediately took to discuss this on Instagram about how new the pics are and if Spears herself posted these. Britney replied to her fans posting, “Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions 💁🏼♀️😉🌹!!!!!” And in a new dancing post, she added, “Pssss my red dye came out in the shower 🚿 and it looked like a crime scene 😬👻🩸!!!!”
