Unrestricted free-agent forward Michael Raffl signed a two-year contract with Lausanne Hockey Club of Switzerland’s National League on Thursday.

Raffl, 33, recorded 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 76 games last season with the Dallas Stars. The Austrian collected two goals and an assist during the Stars’ first-round playoff series against the Calgary Flames.

“Michael has proven his worth as a leader in the NHL and on the Austrian national team,” Lausanne head coach John Fust said in a statement. “He has a versatile profile, since he can play at center or on the wing. We look forward to having him in our organization for the next two seasons.”

Raffl has totaled 179 points (89 goals, 90 assists) in 590 career games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and Stars. He initially signed with the Flyers in 2013 as an undrafted free agent.
