Jordan Walsh, a five-star small forward prospect out of Texas, committed to Arkansas on Thursday.

Walsh chose the Razorbacks over Kansas, Memphis and Texas.

He’s the second five-star to join coach Eric Musselman’s Class of 2022 after the program reached the Elite Eight and finished with a top-10 national ranking last spring. Arkansas previously landed combo guard Nick Smith from North Little Rock, the No. 9 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Walsh (6-foot-7, 190 pounds) ranks No. 27 in his class in the composite and is considered the seventh-best small forward.

His commitment pushed Arkansas to the second-ranked 2022 recruiting class by 247Sports’ methodology, trailing only Duke. The Razorbacks also have verbals from three four-star prospects.
