Celebrity singer Shakira posted on social media when she went to a park in Barcelona along with her 8-year-old son that she was attacked by wild boars. Two wild boar snatched her handbag and mauled it in the Barcelona park.
“Look at how two wild boar, which attacked me in the park, have left my bag,” Shakira shared on Instagram Stories. “They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything.”
Others that have visited the park have also been attacked by wild boars. Luckily, Shakira and her 8-year-old son are safe and did not receive any injuries.
“The ongoing boar issue has even spilled over into Rome’s mayoral race, with Mayor Virginia Raggi, who is seeking re-election, filing a legal suit earlier this month accusing the Lazio region of failing to keep the animals out of the capital”, according to Reuters.
