EA Sports announced the $1.7 million Madden NFL 25 Championship Series (MCS) will feature 25 players competing across six tournaments, begin with next month’s Kickoff Classic.
The company also revealed that Australia will join the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada and Germany as eligible regions for players to compete through.
The MCS will conclude with the Madden Bowl in February 2025.
“MCS 25 will build on the momentum of a record-setting MCS 24 season with exciting changes and new experiences for our fans,” said Andrew Echanique, Madden NFL esports commissioner. “In continued partnership with the NFL, we’re delivering more opportunities for our players to experience NFL stardom through new ways to compete, watch, and win. We’re looking forward to all of the big plays and game-changing moments on the road to the Madden Bowl.”
The first opportunity to earn MCS points will come at the Kickoff Classic, which will feature a $100,000 prize pool and will take place during the Early Access period. It will be available to those who pre-ordered the Madden NFL 25 Deluxe Edition.
