Nikita Krylov was forced to withdraw from Saturday night’s light heavyweight Fight Night main event with an illness hours before his bout against Ryan Spann.

In the elevated main event bout, Brendan Allen defeated Andre Muniz by submission in the third round of their middleweight fight at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Per the UFC, Krylov fell ill before making his way to the Apex. UFC physicians treated Krylov before he was ultimately forced to scratch.

In the substitute main event, Allen (21-5) caught Muniz (23-5) in a rear-naked choke that ended the bout at 4:25 of the third.
