The top five teams were unchanged while Michigan and TCU vaulted into the top 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 women’s college basketball poll released Monday.

Top-ranked and defending national champion UConn (4-0) received 28 of the 32 first-place ballots, with three going to No. 2 South Carolina (4-0) and one to No. 3 UCLA (5-0). Texas (4-0) and LSU (4-0) rounded out the first five.

The Wolverines (3-0) jumped eight spots to No. 6 after routing then-No. 18 Notre Dame 93-54 on Saturday, and the Horned Frogs (4-0) surged seven places to No. 10 following a 69-59 win at then-No. 10 NC State on Sunday.

No. 7 Baylor (4-0) and No. 9 Maryland (5-0) held their spots, but Oklahoma (4-1) dropped two places to No. 8 despite winning three games last week by at least 28 points each.

No. 23 West Virginia (4-0) entered the poll after beating then-No. 15 Duke (3-2) on Friday. That knocked the Blue Devils out, ending a 24-week run in the Top 25.
