Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink tore her left ACL during Tuesday night’s loss to the Connecticut Sun.

The Sparks confirmed the diagnosis on Wednesday and said additional details will be provided at a later date.

Brink was the No. 2 pick in the 2024 draft out of Stanford, following Caitlin Clark’s selection by the Indiana Fever.

Brink, 22, appeared to slip while driving to the basket in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game in Uncasville, Conn.

The 6-foot-4 forward averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots in 15 games (all starts) this season.
