Rickie Fowler became the newest member of the TGL, the tech-infused golf league announced Wednesday.

The league, which is fronted by Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, now features 12 of the 18 golfers needed to compete on six three-man teams in match play on a virtual course. Play is scheduled to begin in 2024.

“With his dynamic personality and competitive spirit, Rickie Fowler is a perfect fit for TGL. Welcome to the league!” TGL wrote Wednesday on Twitter.

Fowler, 34, has five PGA Tour career victories but none since the Waste Management Phoenix Open in 2019. He does have six top-10 finishes in 10 starts this season and sits 59th in the Official World Golf Ranking.

He joins World No. 2 Jon Rahm of Spain, No. 3 McIlroy, Woods, No. 6 Max Homa, No. 7 Xander Schauffele, No. 10 Justin Thomas, No. 11 Collin Morikawa, No. 13 Matt Fitzpatrick of England, No. 25 Billy Horschel, No. 32 Justin Rose of England and No. 38 Adam Scott of Australia as members of the TGL.
