OVERWATCH: Team Liquid remains unbeaten at OWCS NA Stage 3

Team Liquid improved to 6-0 with a victory over Sakura Esports on Saturday at the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 — North America Stage 3.

Spacestation Gaming (6-1) and Team Z (2-5) also opened Week 6 with victories.

The online tournament features eight teams. Week 6 concludes Sunday and will wrap up the pool-play portion with two final matches.

The top six teams in the standings will advance to the double-elimination regional playoffs. The top three finishers in the playoffs will earn Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals invitations as well as cash prizes of $30,000 (first), $20,000 (second) and $14,500 (third). Lower finishers will earn less: $10,500 for fourth, $7,500 for fifth and sixth and $5,000 for seventh and eighth.

Team Liquid opened with a 2-0 win on Ilios, then after Sakura Esports (3-4) pulled even on Esperanca (127.15-127.14), Team Liquid notched back-to-back wins on Watchpoint: Gibraltar (1-0) and King’s Row (3-2) to close out the 3-1 win.

In a matchup of 5-1 teams, Spacestation Gaming was forced to go the distance against Geekay Esports. Spacetation Gaming jumped out with a 2-0 win on Samoa, but Geekay Esports notched back-to-back victories on Watchpoint: Gibraltar (3-1) and King’s Row (4-3) to pull ahead. Spacestation turned the tables with a 3-0 triumph on Suravasa, then sealed the victory on New Queen Street, 127.2-82.37.

Team Z recorded a 3-1 win over Extinction, which fell to 1-5. A 2-1 win on Lijiang Tower gave Team Z the early lead, but Extinction evened the match on Aatlis 3-1. Team Z rebounded on Esperanca (142.41m-63.99m) and Watchpoint: Gibraltar (3-1) to earn the victory.

Week 6 concludes on Sunday with Team Liquid facing DhillDucks (0-6) and NTMR (3-3) taking on Extinction.
