BLAST reached a multi-year deal with Epic Games to run their Fortnite and Rocket League championships.

The agreement announced Thursday starts this year.

BLAST will handle operations, event production and marketing for the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) and the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

“We are immensely proud to announce this momentous multi-year deal with Epic Games,” BLAST chief business officer Leo Matlock said. “We believe this partnership represents the future of competitive gaming, where organisations like BLAST are able to work in tandem with world-leading publishers to create incredible experiences for players and teams to compete at the top level in front of fans all over the world.”

The new deal expands BLAST’s previous partnership with Fortnite. BLAST ran multiple FNCS events over the past three years, including the $4 million FNCS Global Championship in October in Copenhagen, Denmark.
